Kansas City, Missouri based Vanguard Companies announced the appointment of Chris Cummings as the new Executive Vice President of Sales, and Sean Bulva, as Production Training Manager. In his new role, Chris will be responsible for leading Vanguard’s commercial organization with a focus on the continued growth of the company’s high-performing team and best-in-class customer experience.
The national and regional sales, strategic marketing, and creative teams will report to Chris whose primary leadership responsibility will be to lead Vanguard’s commercial team to better serve existing and new customers while growing new markets, products, and services.
Chris brings over 20 years of experience as a veteran in the corrugated packaging and POP display industry. He has an extensive background in developing and managing accounts and sales/design teams.

Sean will report into Doug Hay, Divisional Manager-Corrugate Converting. He will be developing training programs for plant employees to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs safely and efficiently. He will collaborate with production management and other stakeholders to identify training needs. Additionally, he will stay updated with industry practices and technology to enhance training content and delivery.
