Troika Systems has launched its new Troika EVO 3D scanning microscope platform for inspection and measurement of anilox rollers, flexo plates and gravure cylinders, which it says delivers about 70 percent faster scanning performance than older-generation systems.
The EVO platform from Troika introduces major architectural and engineering upgrades, according to the manufacturer.
The system incorporates a 2.3MP (1920×1200) imaging sensor, for enhanced image clarity, making surface wear, damage and complex cell structures more visible.
Troika observed that this performance is almost double that of the AniCAM HD Plus, and that EVO has much faster scan times (targeting less than 15 seconds).
Two-Click Operation
Also included are two-click automatic operation, with no manual settings and minimal training required; precision motor stepping for repeatable, consistent scans; magnetic quick-change lenses that keep alignment consistent across operators and sites; a legacy mode for like-for-like results against third-party devices; and power pulled directly from a USB connection, so there is no reliance on battery power.
