Czech flexographic press manufacturer Soma has completed the installation of an Optima flexo press at Shree Plast Industries, a packaging converter based in Satara, Maharashtra, India.
Shree Plast specializes in laminated flexible packaging and printed poly films, serving packaging applications across food segments — including bakery, dairy, snacks, and spices — as well as agro, industrial, FMCG, and pharmaceutical markets. The company focuses on customized packaging solutions and multicolor printing.
The installed Optima 650-880-8 EG press, according to the company, delivers faster setup times, reduced material waste, and consistent print quality, supported by Soma’s automation features.
