According to the Rockwall Economic Development Corporation (REDC), Pratt Industries, a privately held producer of 100 percent recycled containerboard and the fifth largest corrugated packaging company in the U.S., is expanding operations at is Rockwall, Texas corrugated plant.
Pratt initially opened its state-of-the-art facility on approximately 30 acres in the Rockwall Technology Park in 2017. This expansion represents a significant investment in Pratt’s Rockwall campus, reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to the community.
The expansion will add approximately 346,000 square feet to the existing facility resulting in a total building size of approximately 736,000 square feet. The project is expected to bring $90M in capital investment along with the creation of 100 new jobs.

The expansion further solidifies Rockwall’s position as a regional hub for advanced manufacturing and sustainable industry. Pratt’s investment aligns with the community’s vision of attracting companies that deliver both economic impact and job creation.
Construction and equipment installation timelines for the expansion are expected to proceed in phases, with full operations anticipated following completion of the new corrugator line and facility enhancements.
