The Paper & Paperboard Packaging Environmental Council (PPEC) extended its congratulations to Serge Desgagnes of member company Kruger Inc. as he embarks on his retirement after more than four decades of working in Canada’s paper packaging and containerboard industry.
Serge has been a long-standing supporter, member, and board director of PPEC. His contributions to representing the environmental interests of the industry, his expertise of recycling and containerboard mills, and his steadfast commitment to environmental sustainability have been greatly appreciated and will be missed.
Serge’s career began in 1980 where he started as a buyer with a printing company, working his way to his most current role as Vice President of Containerboard Sales during his remarkable 31-year tenure with Kruger. He is well-respected by his peers and customers and has been described as “a benchmark in the industry for information and advice,” and the PPEC couldn’t agree more.
