The Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC) will welcome over 50 industry professionals to its headquarters in Springfield, Massachusetts on May 14-15 for Spring Folding Carton Boot Camp. This two-day program offers valuable insights into every aspect of the folding carton industry and provides participants with an immersive and comprehensive training experience.

Folding Carton Boot Camp is ideal for anyone new to cartons (even if not new to the industry) and non-plant personnel with limited experience outside a single plant operation. Paperboard packaging industry leaders will present topics such as structural design and workflow, inks and coating, tooling, laminating, digital die cutting, gluing and adhesives, rigid box manufacturing, and more.

Instructors will include Gayle Harrop of Tamarack Products Inc.; John Pettus of Wikoff Color Corp.; Kirsty Drury of Henkel; Travis Moellers of IMPACT Converting & Systems Solutions; Steve Rote of Metsa Board Americas Corporation; Quinn Garber of Integrity Fiber; Jacob Reid of Graphic Packaging International; Susie Stitzel of Esko; Eric Frank of Koenig & Bauer; Doug Herr of Bobst North America; Bill Rice of Heidelberg USA; Laura Brodie of Pusterla US, Inc.; and PPC’s President, Ben Markens.
