Aiming to help paperboard packaging manufacturers enhance and develop their businesses in the current landscape, the Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC) will host its first multi-day, online event this month: The Insight & Growth Conference (I&G), August 25-27, 2020.

Featuring three tracks—Finance, Operations, and Human Resources—I&G is designed to engage employees at all levels of folding carton operations. Fostering this multi-level participation, companies that register for the event may send any number of individual employees. Attendees will learn:

Operations Track:

Glue, gluing, windowing, and finishing automation

Finishing innovations we would have seen at drupa

Roundtable: best practices in finishing

Human Resources Track:

Hiring and onboarding during COVID-19

Leadership, development, and coaching

Conflict management

Finance Track:

Strategies for credit management

Digital financial strategy

Artificial intelligence

“The paperboard packaging industry faces regular challenges in addition to those brought on by COVID-19,” said Ben Markens, PPC President. “I&G is designed to help inform those working in paperboard packaging how they can succeed in our new landscape. After all, when one of us improves, it pushes all of us to improve. The pandemic has changed how we look at business, and that means we have the opportunity to shape our industry.”

PPC member companies can register for $299 per company, including limited-time access to recordings after the event. Non-member companies can register for $599. Any number of individuals from each registered company may attend the conference. For more information or to save a spot, visit paperbox.org/events.

PPC’s mantra to “grow, promote, and protect” recognizes both the opportunities and challenges that exist today while maintaining an eye on the horizon. PPC has never been more integral to the health and wellbeing of North America’s paperboard packaging manufacturers.
