Amcor, developer and producer of packaging solutions, has made a multi-million-euro investment in a new printing line at its manufacturing facility in Hardenberg, Netherlands.

The investment enhances Amcor’s industrial film capabilities, supporting rising demand across markets such as growing media, peat, fertilizers, wood shavings, animal bedding, wood pellets, salts and other bulk materials.

Commissioning of the new line is set to begin this summer, with full operation expected in autumn 2026. The new line will provide additional printing capacity for up to 6,000 metric tons of packaging per annum when fully utilized.

The new line is reportedly a high-performance flexographic printing system designed to deliver consistent, high-quality output at scale, supporting both functional performance and on-pack branding requirements.
