SuperCorrExpo 2024 once again proved itself as a premier event in the global corrugated industry. Held over the course of five days, the event brought together industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders across the world, positioning itself as a central hub for the latest developments, trends and technology in corrugated packaging.
With nearly 4,000 attendees, including representatives from US and international box plants and almost 300 exhibitors, the expo offered unmatched opportunities for networking, education and business growth. This year’s show featured more than 20 working machines on the exhibit floor, providing hands-on demonstrations of cutting-edge technology and automation in action. From sustainability solutions to artificial intelligence, SuperCorrExpo delivered a full-spectrum experience.
Attendees had the chance to see a range of machinery in action, including rotary die cutters, strappers, flexo folder gluers, printers, and innovative robotics solutions. This hands-on experience provided immense value, allowing industry professionals to witness the machinery’s capabilities and potential impact on their operations firsthand.
“At SuperCorrExpo, we are really able to focus down on the machines without the distractions of the factory environment,” said Danny Lopez, Vice President, New Machinery Sales at Haire.
The live demonstrations gave exhibitors an opportunity to showcase the performance, efficiency, and precision of their equipment in real-world scenarios. For attendees, the ability to interact with different machines and ask questions on the spot helped clarify the benefits and applications of each technology. The palpable energy translated into real business outcomes, with equipment being sold right on the show floor.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) was a central focus with exhibitors showcasing innovative AI-driven solutions designed to transform production, enhance quality control and streamline operations. This emphasis on AI extended beyond the exhibit floor, as it became a key topic in numerous sessions and keynote addresses throughout the event.
Sean DuBravac set the tone with his keynote, “Leading in an AI World,” exploring how AI is not only changing the way businesses operate, but also how leaders must adapt to harness its full potential. “We are on the cusp of a major shift,” Sean said, “where we are moving from digitization to datafication. That shift will have a significant impact on everyone in the corrugated industry…We’re already seeing AI augment customer service, create work schedules, harvest machine data for predictive maintenance, among others. We should be looking broadly at how AI is disrupting other industries to understand how it can be helpful to us.”
Mark your calendars as SuperCorrExpo returns to Orlando on October 8-12, 2028.
