Mexico based Sultana Packaging Group has reaffirmed its commitment to KOLBUS Group GmbH with the acquisition of a new RD 115S flexo rotary die-cutter for its facility in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.
“The decision follows nearly a decade of successful operation with Hycorr rotary die-cutters, which have been in use since 2015 and have consistently delivered high reliability, stable performance, and strong KPI results on the production floor,” explains Ing. Juan Carlos Martínez-Daniel, Director General, Sultana Packaging Group. “This proven track record made Kolbus – who acquired Hycorr back in 2011 – the clear choice as we evaluated options to upgrade our converting assets.”
He continues, “We are delighted to be continuing the excellent working relationship with Sultana,” explains Roman Lopez, Managing Director, Kolbus de Mexico. “This latest sale of the RD 115S to Sultana is based on years of solid production from their existing machines.”
