Robert E. Heithaus Sr. and his team at Lewisburg, Tennessee based Lewisburg Printing Company announced their participation in their very first Trees Into Cartons, Cartons Into Trees (TICCIT) event this week with over 50 local middle-school science students participating.
The Paperboard Packaging Council’s TICCIT program not only teaches students about the role that trees play in the environment, but also inspires them to make a difference by understanding the sustainability of paperboard packaging. It was wonderful to see the laughter, energy, and inspiration the program brings to both students and the community.
Heithaus said that he was greatful to PPC for designing the education presentation. “Cannot wait to come back to the school and learn how the young students and their trees have grown,” he said.
