The Fibre Box Association (FBA) announced that Cory Martin has joined its staff as Executive Vice President. Cory comes to FBA from the International Bottled Water Association (IBWA), where he served as the Vice President, Government Relations.
“We are thrilled to have Cory on the FBA team,” said Bob McIlvaine, FBA’s President and CEO. “Cory’s decades of government relations experience will be extremely helpful in leading our efforts to promote corrugated as the package of choice.”
Cory began his association work with the Utah Association of Mortgage Brokers as its Executive Director. He moved on to become Director of Government Relations at the American Bakers Association before joining IBWA. While at IBWA, he solidified the association as an industry leader in federal and state sustainability issues. He has a track record of improving an industry’s profile and increasing trust among other trade organizations and policymakers. He holds a master’s degree in legislative affairs from George Washington University and a bachelor’s in political science from Brigham Young University.
