Christopher John Schiffenhaus passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Scottsdale, Arizona on May 24. He was 59 years old.

Chris grew up in Essex Fells, New Jersey with his seven brothers and sisters.

He attended West Essex High School and then worked for the family business, Schiffenhaus Packaging, for 25 years before moving to Cape Cod where he worked in the restaurant business as well as the construction field building homes on the cape.
In 2020, he moved to Arizona to help care for his parents. Chris loved his Yankees and Rangers and enjoyed texting his brothers during the games and playoffs. He was a huge fan of tennis and followed intensely his favorite player, Novak Djokovic. He loved cars, golf, working out and music.

There was a private service for family in Arizona on May 29. Information for a Celebration of Life will follow in New Jersey.
