Greg Saxon has been named the new Chief Executive Officer for The Recycling Partnership. Saxon succeeds Founder and CEO Keefe Harrison, following a planned leadership transition announced this spring.
The appointment comes during a period of evolution for the U.S. residential recycling system, as one in five Americans now live in states with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws for paper and packaging.
Saxon brings more than 20 years of leadership experience, with a strong systems perspective built from experience across electronics recycling, packaging, procurement, supply chain, operations, and circular materials systems.
During the transition, there will be full continuity of The Partnership’s focus on tackling system challenges that no single company, community, or policy can fix alone.
Saxon’s background includes leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, PlanITROI, Aventiv Technologies, and other organizations, as well as nonprofit experience serving on the Board of the Televerde Foundation.
Most recently, Saxon served as Chief Operating Officer of PedalPoint Recycling and PedalPoint LifeCycle Solutions, where he helped scale solutions that increased material recovery, strengthened circular economy outcomes, and delivered value for customers and communities.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Economics from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Science from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
