Siegwerk, global provider of printing inks and coatings for packaging applications and labels, has been awarded the 2026 EcoVadis Sustainability Achievement Award in the category “Best New Program”.
According to the jury, the company sets a new benchmark for early‑stage sustainable procurement initiatives. The judges particularly emphasized Siegwerk’s outstanding transparency, its strong early impact, and its systematic focus on human rights within its global supply chain.
Every year, EcoVadis grants its Sustainability Achievement Awards to companies with strong sustainable procurement programs that enable meaningful impact across global value chains. Here, the “Best New Program Award” recognizes companies that demonstrate rapid progress and leadership in responsible procurement within the first three years of their EcoVadis journey.
A key driver of the company’s progress is SustainUP, its global sustainable procurement program designed to holistically advance sustainability and human rights throughout the supply chain.
SustainUP was launched in mid-2025 to provide teams with clear guidelines, practical tools, and structured frameworks to help them integrate environmental and social responsibility into every sourcing decision.
