Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) has acquired Starport Technologies, a provider of smart label solutions based in Kansas City, Missouri. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2006, Starport manufactures a wide range of RFID products and other types of smart labels for numerous consumer and supply chain applications. Its manufacturing processes enable various face materials, adhesives, RFID transponders, printing, and other specialty coated web materials to be converted into a single pass through its converting platform.
