This semester, students in the Graphic Technology program at the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) will receive hands-on learning from new design software.
Arden Software has donated 26 Impact Designer Professional seats to the International Corrugated Packaging Foundation (ICPF) for use in UNI’s production lab.
The Graphic Technology program at UNI is making a concerted effort to shift the program’s emphasis towards the packaging industry. This Arden Impact software donation ensures students have access to cutting-edge tools that reflect industry standards.

“We believe that providing students with access to industry-standard tools, such as our Impact software, is crucial in equipping the next generation of packaging professionals with the skills they need to succeed.

Lee Geisinger, Assistant Professor at UNI said, “Arden Impact is recognized as an industry-standard application that aligns seamlessly with our program’s goals.
“It’s features and capabilities will complement our existing curriculum, exposing students to advanced tools, enhancing their proficiency in packaging design, and preparing them for careers in the corrugated packaging industry.”
Arden also recently donated an Impact Designer Professional license to ICPF for Pittsburg State University’s Graphic Communications program, significantly advancing students’ ability in corrugated production.
