Tageos has opened its new U.S. headquarters in Fletcher, North Carolina, marking the beginning of a fully expanded manufacturing presence in the United States.
With a current global annual capacity of nine billion RFID inlays and tags, the = RFID company can already produce more than two billion units per year in the heart of the American market. By the end of 2024, Fletcher will have expanded its capacity by another two billion units to a total of more than four billion units per year. The new site will enable the company to produce RAIN RFID (UHF) and HF/NFC products with the highest ARC-certified quality and performance in high volumes.
The new facility at the Quality Point site in Fletcher houses sales, administration and customer service offices as well as 20,000 square feet of manufacturing space, equipped with production lines for the latest technology in RAIN RFID (UHF) and HF/NFC inlays. Around 60 people are already employed in Fletcher, and the investments made amount to “several million dollars,” according to Tageos and the local authorities.
