Nelsonville, Wisconsin based Baysek Machines has confirmed the sale of its first C-170 die cutter to Combinath, a corrugated board converter based in Torun, Poland.
Founded in 1998, Combinath employees 65 people and produces a wide variety of packaging in multiple sectors, including food packaging and luxury packaging, which was one of the main reasons for choosing the C-170. The machine will feature an optional single-face corrugated attachment that will allow Combinath to produce interior packaging for the cosmetics and luxury packaging industries.
“We have always liked the Baysek die cutter and its versatility,” said Joanna Wyrwas, General Manager, Combinath. “One big benefit of having this machine is the nick-free, multiple-out die cuts which will improve both our productivity and expansion plans. After we saw the machine in a live production environment and saw the machine’s capabilities, we knew this was our next investment”.
“The servo-driven C-170 is the perfect fit for Combinath and their business model,” added Robert Jess, UK & Europe Sales for Baysek. “We have included the optional single-face attachment to their machine which will give them additional flexibility to expand their product portfolio. The machine will also give Combinath the capability to handle higher volume packaging runs and increase capacity even further.”
The C-170 will be installed Spring 2022.
